- Yes, mostly doing it ourselves.
Are you still living there?
- Yes, that’s why it was important to keep at least a couple bedrooms intact.
When do you expect the house to be done?
- We are hoping to be done by summer 2021
Are you a contractor or have you built a house before?
- No, we aren’t in construction and we’ve never taken on a project of this scale before. We do come from a long line of “do-it-yourselfers” and have done other projects such as finishing a basement, remodeling a kitchen, and building a garage. We are reading a lot about California building code to be sure. It’s been a skill building and tool set building experience!
